The Academy at Sisters’ newly expanded science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) curriculum and lab allows our students to further explore interests and options in a field they might not have thought possible.

Jobs in these areas offer higher than average salaries, and STEM occupations are expected to grow much faster than the overall employment rate. In today’s world, everyone needs to have basic scientific knowledge, and a strong foundation in STEM could later open doors for opportunities that don’t even exist yet.

One of our primary goals, when a student is enrolled at The Academy at Sisters, is to help them become invested and engaged in their learning. The Academy at Sisters school has adopted an innovative and progressive academic model, Proficiency-Based Learning, that supports best practices. This teaching/learning model enables our students to become confident, invested, and proactive learners. Our academic and therapeutic teams collaboratively work with each student to develop the skills necessary to achieve their educational goals.
