Family Focus Experiences Open to All

I hope this email finds you safe and well. I’m writing to talk to you about our family program, but I believe it would be negligent of me to reach out to you without addressing the movement for racial justice and equality. At Elements, we count ourselves incredibly privileged to be safe and healthy when so many are suffering. Now more than ever, we are called to live up to our highest principles in providing therapy that is inclusive of all, regardless of race, color, creed, or identity. We realize this is more than providing diversity and inclusion trainings and anti-harassment trainings. This is a daily effort to confront our individual and collective privileges and prejudices. We have much to learn and much to do. Now is the time to listen. All that said, I am happy to hear your thoughts or share details about our efforts in this area if you are interested.

I want to personally thank you all for your support throughout these difficult times. Adversity can of course bring out the best and our worst in human nature, and I am heartened to see this treatment community come together to support the health and well-being of all our clients and their families in the best way possible.

At Elements, we are so grateful to be providing 100% of our treatment in the beauty and openness of the outdoors. Thanks in no small part to this setting, we are not only able to provide treatment for our clients but also their families. We have always believed that it’s not enough to simply provide treatment for the individual client. We need to help the family system heal as well.

With treatment options limited across the country and with families sheltered at home, the strain on family systems is perhaps greater than it has ever been. Beyond simply doing the work for our currently enrolled families, Elements is prepared to offer its Family Focus Experiences to its alumni families as well as families who have experienced treatment elsewhere but need a safe place to revisit their past gains.
