Please join Center for Change, a treatment center for individuals struggling with Eating Disorders, as they welcome Laura Campbell, LCPC-S as the new Program Director in Boise, ID.
Laura grew up in Colombia and Mexico and came to the United States for college where she earned a BA in Art and Spanish from Taylor University and Master of Science and Education Specialist degrees in Counseling and Counselor Education from Indiana University. Laura’s fifteen years of clinical experience have focused on addiction recovery, dual diagnosis treatment, group processes, depression, and anxiety. She is a registered clinical supervisor and is passionate about quality supervision and her team’s ongoing clinical growth and development. Laura’s relaxation time involves movies, finding the humor and joy in parenting teens, and adventurous cooking and eating.
Located in a “beautifully restored home” in the historic Hyde Park District of Boise’s North End neighborhood, Center for Change offers a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
The Boise campus meets the needs of both adolescents and adults of all genders dealing with eating disorders, who don’t require an inpatient setting but need more support and structure beyond traditional outpatient care.
Center for Change was established in 1994, though most of the founders have been working together and treating eating disorders and concurrent illnesses since 1988. They offer “the most comprehensive” therapy and treatment programs available, with a full continuum of care – from inpatient and residential treatment at the Orem, UT location, to day and evening programs and outpatient services. Our focus is on healing the whole person – mind, body, spirit, and relationships – freeing those struggling with the pain and loneliness of illness to find a peaceful and fulfilling life.
