Key to Obtaining Insurance
Funding for Students
Many programs are telling me the key to obtaining insurance
funding for students is, in finding and working with the Case
Management person in the Insurance Companies.

Elan School in Maine reports 80% of last year's graduates
went on to college.

Jenelle Boeggeman is in training as an Admissions Counselor
at Cascade School, and started Feb. 3rd. She joins Admissions
Counselors Judy Tofflemire and Steve Hargis-Bullen.

Recently Conducted Another Staff Workshop
Phyllis Steinbrecher, IECA from Connecticut and author of
the book Yes, You Can Say No To Your Teenager, recently conducted
another staff workshop at Glenholme School (Devereux), also
in Connecticut.

Cross Creek Manor Has
Six Graduates in Transition Program
Karr Farnsworth, Associate Director of Cross Creek Manor in
Utah, tells me they have six graduates who are in their transition
program. These girls are still under supervision and doing
emotional growth work, but are involved in the community and
are going to public school.

Apart from Other Schools
Brooke Jackson, U.S. Admissions for Amity School in Italy,
explains what sets the school apart from other schools is
the distance the child is from home (putting an ocean between
the child and home is sometimes what the child needs), its
ability to offer the cultural environment of Florence Italy,
their very selective admissions policy, and the Advanced Program
available for their graduates.
Mt. Bachelor Academy
Announces 3rd Annual Summer Venture
Mount Bachelor Academy, in Bend, Oregon, announced the third
annual Summer Venture, taking place July 6 - August 23, 1992,
for students ages 13-18. Activities include Mountain climbing,
Oregon Coast biking, Kayaking, River rafting, Leadership skills
