Dear Colleagues:
It is my pleasure to announce that Ruth McKnight has accepted
my offer to permanently take over the leadership of Northwest
Academy.
Ruth has a rich history with CEDU and Northwest Academy.
She is an alumni parent. As such, she was greatly inspired
by our mission and our work on behalf of children. She chose
to leave a successful law practice to join Northwest Academy
in 1998.
At Northwest Academy, Ruth became a parent communicator
and immediately her value was recognized. She eventually
took over management of communication for the academy and
has been a respected member of the leadership team. She is
also a facilitator of our parent workshops. She was recently
appointed as the interim director.
I’ve been overseeing our Idaho schools and programs now
for a couple weeks. In this role, it quickly became apparent
to me that Ruth should be appointed as the permanent director.
Please join me in congratulating Ruth. As always, I encourage
you to let me know whenever we can serve you better or when
we exceed your expectations, which is always our goal.
