In this very trying and emotionally charged time, all of the staff at Soltreks, Inc. offers not only our heartfelt concern, but our resources and helping hands to aid CEDU families in preparing for the future.

Soltreks is willing to expedite enrollments at reduced fees for short-term needs. We are especially willing to enroll students currently at Ascent who are appropriate to complete their wilderness experience in preparation for transitional placements. In addition, our custom summer family treks provide short term experiences especially valuable for transitions. We also provide parent support and coaching as integral components of each trek. Our treks are currently facilitated in New Mexico until May 1.

Prior to starting Soltreks, Inc. eight years ago, Lorri Hanna and Doug Sabo ran the Ascent program and worked for the north Idaho schools. An invaluable level of understanding CEDU philosophy would enable your child to continue to progress in their emotional growth work.

Many past and present CEDU employees are our friends and colleagues. Our heart and support go out to all staff, parents, and children. To our friends who still work there, to the families that need guidance and direction and to their referring professionals, we extend our assistance and support during this difficult time.
