To CEDU families, staff and Educational Consultants impacted by the sudden closure of CEDU programs and schools:

The Independent Small Programs Alliance (ISPA) is prepared to assist openly, in any way possible, the young people and families, staff and involved Educational Consultants impacted by the CEDU closing. Those requiring assistance in ensuring that necessary services and support are provided to any and all of the above need only ask.

The closing of the CEDU programs is of concern to all of us in the business of providing therapeutic and educational services to young people. The response to this complex situation from Educational Consultants and service providers is commendable. Such a closure brings concern to programs and schools as well as families and referring professionals.

ISPA knows that our industry is strong and viable. Let there be no question of our commitment to young people and their families. Our business is not like any other because we deal in the precious lives of young people and their families. We have two customers, those customers of human contract and those of business contract. Human contract must be considered first, but individual businesses operate in a world of difficult economic parameters and stability and success comes from strong leadership, stewardship and innovation.

For reference, current ISPA members include; New Lifestyles, Inc. in Virginia, Building Bridges, Inc. in Montana, The Oliverian School in New Hampshire and the F.L. Chamberlain School in Massachusetts. Though ISPA is a very new alliance, we stand ready to assist in this difficult time and hope that those impacted will quickly find themselves in a stable, positive and successful situation.

If an impacted person or group would like to seek assistance from ISPA, please contact Andy Anderson, ISPA/Andy Anderson Consulting at 727-512-9144 or email - alanderson1537@earthlink.net.

Sincerely,

Andy Anderson
