(CERRITOS, CA – August 26, 2004) — Aspen Education Group (AEG), the
nation’s leader in providing educational opportunities

youths and their families, has named
Barbara Noblet as executive director of Youth Care,
Inc. and its companion program Pine Ridge Academy,
both based near Salt Lake City, UT.
Noblet has been in the healthcare services industry for more than 15
years, having directed the operations of behavioral health and long-term
acute-care hospitals in California during the past 12 years. Through
her leadership and expertise, Noblet has earned an outstanding reputation
for achieving industry accreditation goals and enhancing the financial
performance of organizations she has managed.

Noblet has been active in behavioral health- and youth-focused community
outreach programs throughout her career having served
on the boards of Cities in Schools, Long Beach, CA, and the Community
Advisory
Board of San Diego County Mental Health. She was also
a board member for the California Association of Hospitals and Health
Systems.
Noblet earned an M.B.A. in finance and marketing from the University
of California at Los Angeles and a B.A. in psychology
from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI.
Youth Care, Inc. is a highly personalized, therapeutic residential treatment
program for adolescents between the ages of 11 to 18
who are experiencing mental health or chemical dependency issues. Enrollment
is limited to
two therapeutic residences of 14 students each. The
students live in a nurturing environment designed to model a home and
family-like setting.
Through intensive therapeutic, psychiatric and behavioral
treatment, the program helps residents and their families learn new,
more successful
ways to cope with difficult challenges and behaviors.
Pine Ridge Academy is a residential treatment program for adolescents
who are experiencing emotional, behavioral or academic difficulties.
The program enrolls only a small number of students and provides a home-like,
highly individualized therapeutic education environment. Residents participate
in goal-oriented therapy, success-oriented academics and recreational
activities.
Both Youth Care and Pine Ridge are accredited by the Joint Commission
on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and are preferred providers
for many insurance companies.
