CEDU High School Appoints Headmaster
Bill Valentine has been appointed Headmaster at CEDU High School in Running Springs, California, replacing Ron Cook who is returning
to his previous career in the YMCA and Association Management Fields. Bill has been with CEDU Education for seven years, most recently
as Director of Hilltop. Guy Bonanno, who has been with CEDU Education for almost a decade, is moving from CEDU High School to accept
the Directorship at Hilltop. Another change in the CEDU system is the creation of the position Director, Consultants' Relations. This
new position will be filled by Saul Rudman, who has been Admissions Director at CEDU School for three years. The primary focus of
this position is to help and serve the needs of the consultants who are interested in referring to CEDU schools. His admissions duties
at CEDU will be taken over by Daniel Conroy, who has been the CEDU Middle School Admissions Director.
Northstar's New Summer Program Starts Soon
Changing Directions, a summer program exclusively for young women put together by Jane Stewart and Jeannie Crowell of NorthStar in
Bend, Oregon will start July 5, 1994 and ends August 13, 1994. Applications should be in by June 15. For information, call 503-385-8657.

New Arrival At Elk Mountain Academy
Carl and Loretta Olding, of Elk Mountain Academy in North Idaho, had a baby girl on May 28, 1994. Ashley was 8 pounds and 6 ounces.
Loretta and Ashley are doing well.
Boundarylines Reports A Busy Start To Summer
Richard Armstrong of Boundarylines in North Idaho reports a busy start to the summer. Along with his crisis intervention and taking
in students for the short term, he is planning a light wilderness trip for girls which will be run by Twila Stephenson.
New Director For SUWS
Gary Allredge is the new Director of SUWS, with Sue Crowell and Eric Thomas as Assistant Directors. Sue and Eric will still maintain
their Field Supervisor responsibilities. Prior owners L.J. Mitchell and George Church will serve on the Board of Directors for at
least seven years under the new umbrella provided by new owner College Health Enterprises.
New Additions For Straight Arrow Ranch
Shirley and Bruce Morelli report 28 new buffalo calves on the Straight Arrow Ranch in Northeast Washington, bringing the buffalo herd
up to 115. Also, a new baby burro and a flock of baby geese lined up behind mom and dad.
