Past IECA President
Resumes Consulting Practice
Brooke F. Dudley, of San Antonio, Texas has resumed his consulting
practice. He has moved to Behavioral Science Associates, 359
E. Hildebrand, San Antonio, Texas 78212, phone 210-824-3391
(FAX 210-828-3624). Brooke is past President of the IECA organization
and took a break of about a year to do Admissions Work for
the San Antonio Art Institute.
New Family Head At
CEDU School
Rudy Bentz is the new Family Head at CEDU School in California,
replacing Tim Brace. Tim has been with the CEDU Schools for
13 years, serving as Headmaster both at CEDU and Rocky Mountain
Academy in north Idaho. In his announcement, he stated, "As
the CEDU Family of Services continues to grow, so must I.
It is with a mix of sadness and exhilaration that I am announcing
my resignation from CEDU School." Tim can be reached at 1233

contacts from the many friends he has made over the years.
New Short Term Program
For Children
Steven A. Cartisano has started a new short term program for
children with behavioral and emotional problems called Health
Care America, headquartered in the US Virgin Islands. Steve's
prior work in this area was as Head of Wilderness Challenger
in Utah, which he closed in 1990 amid some controversy. Wilderness
Treatment Center in Montana has consolidated its Bozeman facility
with the original facility near Kalispell.
Program Featured On
Prime Time Live
Intermountain Children's Home in Helena, Montana was featured
on Prime Time Live, June 3, 1993. It was described as a program
which prevents seriously abused children from becoming permanent
residents of psychiatric facilities or prisons. The home has
been operating on the Attachment model since 1984, and is
modeled after Forest Heights Lodge in Colorado. For more information,
