Mount Bachelor
Academy
La Mancha Lifestep
Class of December, 1991
13 students of the
Mount Bachelor Academy December, 1991 graduating class traveled
to London for their La Mancha Lifestep. Among other things,
Lifestep is an opportunity for students to try out their newly
developed maturity skills in a totally new environment, while
having a unique growth experience. Some of the following discoveries
by the students were contained in a special edition of the
student newspaper "The Looking Glass," dedicated to the experience.
"One thing is for sure, without friends, you'll be settling
for mediocrity and missing out on the real roller coaster
ride of life." "... when a person has a purpose, a goal for
themselves that they believe in, and they are committed to
living it, it will give them direction in their daily life."
"My purpose is to make positive choices so I can have success
in all areas of my life." "A dream is very important to a
person's life. It gives them a purpose, and it only takes
one thing to make it happen."
