Mount Bachelor Academy Announces
Promotions
Mount Bachelor Academy in Bend,
Oregon announced in December the promotion of Jeffry Johnson to Admission
Director and Sarah Koalkin to Admission Counselor.
CEDU Has New Admissions Director
Saul Rudmond is the new Admissions
Director for CEDU School and CEDU Middle School in Running Springs,
California. Saul has a masters degree in counseling and has had clinical
experience working with high school and college students. Saul most
recently was Director of Admissions at Southwood Psychiatric Residential
Treatment Center in San Diego.
Heritage Center Has New Admissions
Director
Susi Asay is the new Admissions
Director at Heritage Center in Provo, Utah replacing Nancy Bennett.
Susi was formerly with Rivendell of Utah.
John Mercer of Mission Mountain
Reports Remodeling Going Well
John Mercer of Mission Mountain
School in Montana reports their remodeling is going well. They have
finished remodeling the Lounge Building, and are currently remodeling
the laundry/weight room building (as of mid-December). Next is to remodel
the kitchen area. He also reports their marketing program is doing well
with inquiries and enrollments proceeding at a steady pace. They were
at 8 children (early Jan.) and are increasing at a slow measured pace.
Tom Croke Ends Marketing Association
with Heritage Treatment Center
Tom Croke ended his marketing
association with Heritage Treatment Center at the end of 1991. He is
putting out his shingle as an educational consultant specializing in
children with behavioral/emotional problems. His office(s) will be on
the East Coast and he can be reached at 800-477-3987.
Matt Fitzgerald Moves to Admissions
Department
Matt Fitzgerald, after three
years working in program at Rocky Mountain Academy in North Idaho, has
moved over to the Admissions Department. He joins Admissions Director
Renel Hanson, and Linda Shaffer in moving new students into the school.
Richard Armstrong Reports Alaska
Connection Working
Richard Armstrong, of North Idaho,
reports his Alaska connection is working. A student who had bombed out
of everyplace he had been, is starting to see the light after two months
in the Alaskan wilderness.
