The Alaska Adventure
By Richard Armstrong
When you step out of the plane,
your eyes take in the vast expanse. The meandering river across the
valley turns into sparse, tree covered, rocky ridges. As your gaze moves
upward you take in the higher ridges, the snow covered peaks, and on
a fine day, in the distance, Mt. Denali. This is base camp. Log cabins,
rustic living, and northern lights. Great hiking, fishing, and exploring
the Alaska wildness and all the visions of an untamed land. Nature's
laws are foremost. There is an urgency to find the balance of doing,
instead of trying. The results are immediate. The goal is increasing
the awareness of the typical young adult. Once it is clear they have
to deal with the reality of Alaska, their choices become focused. This
is some of what the Alaska Adventure is about. An intense, engaging,
one on one experience. Young Adults learn to rethink their value system
to separate "needs" from "wants." The adolescents learn at their own
pace. Cause and effect bring about the true adventure, and discovery
is on a consistent basis.
The Alaska Experience is offered
to clients up to 25 years of age. For more information, contact Richard
