There are 8-10 additional slots for boys, ages 7-18, and some
openings for girls, ages 7-18, however, the slots for girls are
filling quickly.
Children and families seeking the comprehensive psychological
and educational services that the New Hampshire Summer Program
provides are encouraged to apply immediately.
Wediko's 45 day Summer Program is the nation's oldest short term
residential treatment facility; since 1934, the program has been
a model of excellence in serving youth struggling with social,
emotional and learning issues. The 450-acre waterfront campus
is a therapeutic milieu for children ages 6 to 18, combining
the activity-based structure of a summer camp with the academic
instruction and intensive clinical intervention of a residential
school. Working closely with each child's family, school and
referral agencies, Wediko strives to return children to their
home and school with a renewed sense of competence and hope.
With the summer quickly approaching, time is of the essence!
