Three Rivers Montana announces that as of this
week co-founder Mark Parlett is serving as admissions director.
Mark has a long history of working with teens and families
in wilderness programs and loves working with the families that
come to Three Rivers. Mark handled admissions during the first
year of operation and is enjoying once again actively working
with ed consultants and families during the admissions process.
Mark credits a wilderness program with saving his life. More
than 20 years ago, his parents placed him in a program that became
the inspiration for what he does today. As a young man, he set
the goal of establishing a wilderness program that would include
the elements that he believes are most important to sparking
positive change. Mark calls those elements the Three Rivers differences.
They are strong family involvement, licensed therapists with
small caseloads of 5 to 7 students, field staff with average
age of 29 and all have at least a bachelor's degree, a low student
to staff ratio, and excellent transition services.
Mark replaces Jeff Johnson who served as admissions director
for much of the past year. Jeff has moved on to other pursuits.
Mark is eager to talk with educational consultants and parents.
He uses his experience and knowledge to give parents the best
possible information on Three Rivers so they can make a good
decision on treatment for their child.

talk with Mark.
