Confident Living, Inc. (confidentlivinginc.com), the oldest family-focused transition program in the United States for underachieving young people and families in crisis, announces that noted Bay Area Therapist, Robin Acker, MFT, has joined the team as Northern California Market Manager for the fast-growing company, which utilizes a therapeutic, action-oriented practice based in a real world environment. Its mission is to promote the health and wellness of families while transitioning underachieving young people into higher functioning adults.

Acker brings twenty years of management experience along with her impressive background in family therapy as a therapist, clinical coordinator and program director. Of note in the Bay Area, she has served in director roles at Edgewood, Marin Extended Family Alternative Family Services, Circle of Care Program, and the San Francisco Unified School District. In San Leandro, she was Program Director of Intensive Treatment Foster Care for the Seneca Center for Children and Families. She holds a Masters degree in Psychology and is an MFT licensed therapist.
