Confident
Living, Inc., a unique action-oriented transition program
for underachieving young people and their families, is pleased
to announce the addition of Beth Laughlin as the company's Director
of National Sales and Customer Relations. Laughlin, who has most
recently served as Director of Referral Relations and Admissions
for Auldern Academy in North Carolina, has experience in therapy
and education, particularly in the setting of therapeutic programs
and boarding schools. She also has been a therapist in private
practice.
At Confident Living, Inc., Laughlin will oversee the national
sales efforts and customer relations with the many important referral
sources with whom the company collaborates. Confident Living,
based in Boulder, Colorado, recently opened an office in Northern
California. Up next, Confident Living will open the Southern California
market in September, followed by additional market openings in
the Southwest and Midwest within the year.
"Beth's long history and trusting relationships with Educational
Consultants will further strengthen the collaborative process
we use with this important referral community," stated Terry
Tierney, CEO of Confident Living. "Her years of CRM experience,
professional therapy background and passion for promoting the
health and wellness of under-achieving young people and families
will serve her well as our company continues to expand to new
markets around the country."
Prior to working at Auldern Academy, Laughlin worked as Consultant
Services Manager for CEDU Family of Services in Running Springs,
CA, where she managed and developed key referral accounts with
independent educational consultants for CEDU Family of Services
Emotional Growth Boarding Schools. Her experience goes global
as she was the Director of Counseling Services for Human International
University in Tokyo and also spent a year living and working in
Costa Rica. Beth completed her undergraduate education at Stanford
University on a full scholarship; she holds a bachelor's degree
in psychology and master's degree in counseling.
