Dear friends and colleagues;

I am writing to inform you all of some significant developments and changes that have recently occurred. As many of you know, I have been on a temporary leave of absence from my position, and as of August 23, 2006, I have officially resigned as Director of Admissions at Discovery Academy. I have had several inquiries from people with concern that this change has been brought about by health issues. I am thrilled to report that I am still in remission with no signs of recurrence! My decision for departure from Discovery Academy was met with tremendous support from the owners and board of directors of the school. I have thoroughly enjoyed my 17 + years working for this organization; and particularly appreciate the experiences I have had working for the RedCliff Ascent ownership for the past 3 years. I have been proud to represent Discovery Academy, and will hope to continue to support them in their future successes helping the clients they serve.

I am looking forward to future opportunities for professional and personal growth, and potential new opportunities in this industry when the time is right.

The owners and board of directors will be formally introducing my replacement, Mari Allman. (Many of you may already know her from your visits at Discovery Ranch.) I have complete confidence that parents and professionals will enjoy working with Mari, and will continue to be satisfied with the services and treatment provided by Discovery Academy and it's wonderful staff.
