Dear Colleagues,
Hello. My name is Nanette Zumwalt and I am the Director of
Private Staffing for Hired Power, Inc. in Seal Beach CA. I
am contacting you to provide you with information regarding
the Personal Recovery Assistant, an exciting service we offer
internationally.
When a client enters treatment their lives are often left
in unmanageable chaos. After completing a residential treatment
setting returning to the home environment can be both overwhelming
and scary. A Personal Recovery Assistant can help the client
to both acclimate and begin to manage the chaos that was left
behind. It is the belief of both Hired Power, Inc and the
Treatment Coordinators who regularly use our service that
a Personal Recovery Assistant reduces recidivism rate and
continues to build on the life and coping skills developed
either during initial treatment or in an outpatient setting.
A discharge plan is initiated upon admission to treatment.
Linking the client to a clinical professional within the community
they reside is often critical to the after care process. Hired
Power, Inc in conjunction with these professionals can provide
the additional resources needed for your clients continued
success. There are often times during outpatient treatment
a client may require extra structure and support, a Personal
Recovery Assistant can also be utilized by a treatment provider
in this capacity.
Often the road to and from treatment can be difficult. Occasionally
there is a lapse of time between the decision to seek treatment
and space availability or a need to travel to a location,
also the first forty- eight hours after discharge is known
to be high risk for relapse, a Personal Recovery Assistant
is available to accompany a client at these junctures.
Discretion and confidentiality are focus points of our team
of professionals. I am happy to discuss each staff members
training and background with you as needed for your clients.
