Interview with Kristen Hayes

Kristen Hayes joined Lon Feb. 26, 2015 to explain her new consulting business K Hayes PR. Hayes has been working in public relations for 17 years with the last 8 years being within the adolescent behavioral health network. She explained how this type of work is different than most Public Relations activities because many programs are acting low key hoping that the internet trolls will overlook them and not build nasty attack web sites based on mis-information. She hopes to emphasze the success stories while helping schools and programs become more visible for their accomplishments in helping struggling young people. She will also help schools and programs develop crisis plans since a crisis in a therapeutic boarding school or wilderness therapy is more sensitive than in most other activities.
