In other words, "Say what you mean, and mean what you say." Parents waffling and denial of there being a problem, in extreme cases can be deadly explained Olding. Another point he makes is that drug abuse is not a moral question in being good, bad or wrong, but simply a matter of mental health. Another emphasis to parents dealing with the problem of drug/alcohol abuse is there is hope and often the problem can be reversed.
