As we talked, a group of their students were kayaking around the San Juan Islands in NW Washington in their current Wilderness Adventure. Sapp added that not only do they have fun and experience nature, get exercise and fresh air in their week long nature experience, but also learn important life skills like persistence, working cooperatively in a group and self-respect.
