Solstice East welcomes
Becca Jefferies

We are excited to announce that Becca Jefferies has "come back home" to join the Solstice East family as our new Admissions Director! As many of you know, Becca was the one of the original founders of Asheville Academy for Girls, and served as the Program Director for Asheville Academy for Girls for several years, so we are over the moon to have her back on campus! Please note that Sharon will be staying on with our team, and shifting into a business development/communications role.

Becca has worked in residential therapeutic girl programs for over ten years. She began as a residential staff at a therapeutic boarding school in 2004 and applied her professional and nurturing skills to become the program director within the first year of her being there. She then went on to become a founding program staff for two additional all-girls programs. Becca is dedicated to working with families and young girls to promote healthy living emotionally and physically. "I truly feel that my mission in life includes empowering and educating young women through their healing process," say Becca of her work.

As a native to Western North Carolina, Becca enjoys all the outdoor activities, and delicious foods, that the Asheville area offers. As a mother of a little girl, her main focus is her daughter. She also values time with her family and friends who provide strong support and inspiration daily, music and recently has began learning to care for and ride horses.

Kyle Gillett, Executive Director adds, "Becca's energy and personality are a perfect fit for admissions and we feel so fortunate to have her return to our team! If you haven't met her yet, she is someone that you should surely get to know!"
