Polaris Teen Center is a mental health residential treatment center in Los Angeles that provides growth, healing, and making healthy lifestyle changes for lasting recovery. An individualized treatment plan focuses on empowering specific strengths and positive interests. Polaris has whole person approach to treating mental health conditions that simultaneously addresses the presenting symptoms while concentrating on the deeper issues. Polaris only houses a maximum of six clients at any given time. Additionally, as the adolescents connect to their peers and explore alternate perspectives for coping with their pain, families are supported through a comprehensive family program.

Ari Brown, CEO and Founder, is a Licensed Administrator with the State of California Department of Social Services and has served as Administrator for The Ness Counseling Center, Inc. for 12 years. Michelle Butler, Director of Business Development, is a mental health professional who has spent over ten years serving both practical and therapeutic roles in the chemical dependency field. Marcela Rondani, MA, LMFT, Program Director, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University of Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Sciences in Clinical Psychology from University of Sao Paulo in Brazil. She has specialization and training in treating severe mentally ill population, survivors of sexual abuse, borderline personality disorder, mood disorder, eating disorder clients; and family relationship issues.

Polaris Teen Center treats psychological, behavioral, social, and emotional difficulties using multiple therapeutic modalities. In addition to the core program services, it offers a wide number of support groups. In addition, Polaris provides class time five days a week that addresses individual needs for setting educational goals, stimulating intellectual curiosity, promoting healthy structured study habits and emphasizing the value of learning. All clients are expected to maintain their studies while in treatment.
