Continuing its mission to help students succeed, Blueprint Education will be assisting in the operations of a new residential treatment facility for at risk youth.

Rite of Passage (ROP), whose corporate headquarters are located in Minden, Nev., is an organization whose mission is to improve the lives of youth, particularly at risk youths, through specialized programs. ROP officials are in the process of opening Sycamore Canyon, which is located in Oracle, Ariz.

Sycamore Canyon is a four-month, open-entry/open-exit program with enrollment capacity of 66 students at a time. The facility will serve junior high and high school students, primarily from Pima County, who will be referred to the program by court order.

For its part, Blueprint will provide online and print-based courses for Sycamore Canyon students, allowing these students to continue their academic progress while undergoing the therapeutic program.

"We are excited through our new partnership with Blueprint as it will help fill in some of the missing gaps to the ever increasing needs of our youth. It is yet another way of providing the tools necessary in assisting our young men to become life-long learners," said Shawn Hill, Education Administrator with ROP.

ROP also operates Canyon State Academy, a 300-bed residential treatment facility in Queen Creek, Ariz. The schools at both CSA and Sycamore Canyon are licensed by the Arizona Department of Education and accredited by the North Central Association.
