Blue Ridge Therapeutic Wilderness Clayton, GA Introducing Blue Ridge Therapeutic Wilderness Contact: Dan McDougal (706) 490-1427 danm@blueridgewilderness.com blueridgewilderness.com One of the things that is so special at Blue Ridge is that it has maintained, from the beginning, an individual identity within the Second Nature group of programs. We bring a unique culture and set of features to the landscape of East Coast therapeutic wilderness programs. With gratitude for the incredible history of being a part of Second Nature for so many years, it has become clear that our best path forward requires greater independence, creative autonomy, and a new identity. As of July 19th Second Nature Blue Ridge is doing business as Blue Ridge Therapeutic Wilderness. Our current team will stay the same, with the exception of marketing and admissions. As Blue Ridge Therapeutic Wilderness, we are empowered to develop the next evolution of Blue Ridge, and the systems to get us there. Our commitment to the nomadic wilderness model continues. By weaving together advanced clinical skill with the inherent healing power of nature, we believe it best facilitates the highly individualized care we are known for at Blue Ridge. We are so excited to share more about these new innovations with you as they unfold. We are pleased to announce Beth Venable and Dave Brannan as the admissions team for Blue Ridge Therapeutic Wilderness. Many folks have worked with Beth over the last several years and know her genuine enthusiasm for adventure based therapeutic work and commitment to supporting families. As the Outreach Director for Blue Ridge, Beth is the primary admissions point of contact for referring professionals and always available to speak with families about our wonderful program and team. You can reach Beth via email at BethV@BlueRidgeWilderness.com, or via phone at (864) 364-0664. Dave Brannan, as the Admissions Director, is the primary point of contact for families considering Blue Ridge for their son or daughter. Dave is known for his gentle care, patience, and responsiveness with families. His prior experience as Blue Ridge Field Staff and Parent Coordinator support parents as they navigate the tough process of sending a child to us for treatment. You can reach Dave at DaveB@BlueRidgeWilderness.com or via phone at (706) 982-0110. Having founded Blue Ridge in 2002, I am fully invested in its success. I welcome your feedback and questions, and am looking forward to seeing friends and colleagues at the upcoming Wilderness Therapy Symposium. © Copyright 2012 by Woodbury Reports, Inc. |
