Nueva Esperanza is a 21-day, Christian-based wilderness program that runs from the 4th to 25th of each month. The program accepts boys and girls, ages 13-20, exhibiting conduct or behavioral issues such as disrespect, hostility, defiance, truancy, substance abuse, violence, depression, unpredictable behavior, etc. Although the program accepts both boys and girls, it does not offer a co-ed environment.

The program utilizes Equine Assisted Activities/ Therapy (EAA/EAT) to help the students improve interpersonal skills, enhance self-worth, identify and develop individual learning styles, gain knowledge, communication and coping skills through farm experiences.

Nueva Esperanza “is designed to help young men and women build character, acquire self-discipline, develop stamina, increase accountability, and to learn appreciation of others. The month long camps are available all year.”
