Three Rivers Montana is a brand new non-profit wilderness program. The program is now accepting summer enrollment with a substantial number of scholarships available for the June, July and August admissions into this year-round program. The mission of Three Rivers is to offer a safe, nurturing environment for adolescents with defiant, oppositional, depression, family conflict, educational and/or substance abuse problems while providing support and guidance to the families.

Three Rivers Montana operates separate groups for boys and girls in the treatment component of the program for students ages 13-17. The program is designed for those teens who are physically and emotionally able to benefit from a wilderness experience, and whose parents are willing to participate in their child’s treatment. With a minimum five-day orientation and assessment at the Base Camp, students are required to make a 42-day commitment to the wilderness program. Students earn six semester credits during their stay at Three Rivers and parents join students at the base camp for graduation.

The staff includes a Medical Director (MD), licensed psychologist, licensed therapists, and RN. Three Rivers provides intense aftercare services for three months at no additional charge if the teen returns home immediately after his wilderness experience. Less intensive services, including refresher parenting courses and phone contact are available for an entire year after program completion at no additional cost. The program also offers transitional services for students who need another placement after their wilderness experience. The program follows policies, procedures and adheres to the standards of its parent organization, the ANASAZI Foundation.
