Ponca Pines Academy located in the beautiful, rolling Ponca hills outside of Omaha, Nebraska is now open and serving at-risk young women, ages 17-19. Ponca Pines Academy students may be dealing with issues around Adoption, Attachment, Substance Abuse, Mental Health Disorders, Trauma, and Poor Academic Performance.
Therapists at Ponca Pines Academy are dually licensed in the areas of mental health, and substance abuse. Ponca Pines Academy academic component offers a college preparatory curriculum. In addition, family, experiential and transition components that dovetail with the Ponca Pines Academy treatment program, are included to ensure the successful transition of our students into adulthood.
Ponca Pines Academy is new program of Uta Halee Girls Village which has been successfully working with at risk youth for more than 50 years. Uta Halee Girls Village is a 501 ( c) (3) non profit organization. The age of majority in the state of Nebraska is 19, allowing Ponca Pines Academy to work with students until they reach their 19th birthday.
