Pathway Partners report they consult with families from all over the world helping them find alternative educational approaches when children, adolescents and young adults are not thriving in traditional schools, outpatient therapy, psychopharmacological interventions and other traditional approaches. They continually assess programs throughout the United States and neighboring countries to develop an effective plan for each client. Pathway Partners meet and interview families and clients to help clarify their needs, ascertain possible placements, and then follow the progress of each individual and their entire family throughout the process.

Cynthia L. Cohen, MSPH, is the Director. She received her BA from University of Rochester her MSPH from Harvard University, and is a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultant Association (IECA) and of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP). She has worked with families in educational and therapeutic settings and has extensive experience in negotiating the health care system, determining educational options, and developing career paths. Nellie Gilles is the Administrator. She received her BA from Carleton College and has worked in public radio for several years. Adam Cohen-Congress, a college student at Quest University in Squamish, British Columbia, and Lian Zeitz, a college student at Quest University in Squamish, British Columbia, are Associates. They work to investigate the best placements for clients and both understand wilderness programs and other therapeutic experiences from firsthand knowledge.

Pathway Partners is a team of professionals who specialize in crisis interventions, therapeutic treatments and transitional placements. They emphasize recognizing underlying behavioral and emotional issues, identify the immediate and future needs of the individual and family and develop and pursue the appropriate treatment plan. They work to provide caring and focused guidance for families to select the most suitable Wilderness Program, Residential Treatment Facility, Therapeutic Boarding School, Traditional Boarding School, Substance Abuse and Rehabilitation Program, Transitional Treatment Program, or Community Support Program.
