Magnolia Creek Residential Treatment Center is a program for young women ages 18 and older struggling with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and other eating or exercise disorders not otherwise specified. The average length of stay is two to four months, with a minimum stay of thirty days.

Nicole Siegfried, PhD, is the Clinical Director at Magnolia Creek, and treated eating disorders in her seven years in private practice. Nicole is also a "tenured Associate Professor of Psychology at Samford University. Jim Palmer, MPH, CEO and Executive Director at Magnolia Creek, holds a Master of Public Health Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and managed the Veteran Administration's Southeastern Blind Rehabilitation Center for the past 25 years.

Set among thirty wooded acres with a private lake, the center works at providing the young women a calming environment to work on the main areas of the program. Features offered include Psychological, focusing on core groups and individual therapy run by the Clinical Director; Medical issues covering health, body and wellness; Nutrition, which targets dietary and nutritional needs; Spiritual and Experiential that includes art, yoga and movement, gardening, hiking and balanced, healthy exercise.

The center is licensed by the State of Alabama Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation as a Community Residential Facility and is accredited by The Joint Commission.
