Heather Hayes, M.Ed., LPC, CIP and Carey B. Davidson, M.A.C., CIP, ICAADAC, co-founders of Hayes-Davidson, and Associates are pleased to announce the addition of Kacy Silverstein to the Hayes-Davidson team. In the role of Outreach Coordinator, Kacy will work to advance the mission of Hayes, Davidson, and Associates to serve as a trusted ally to colleagues, clients, and families navigating the complex world of treatment and recovery.

Kacy joins Hayes, Davidson, and Associates with over twelve years of experience in clinical practice, community engagement, and marketing. Prior to joining the team at Hayes, Davidson, and Associates, Kacy served as the Director of Business Development and Admissions at Integrative Life Center in Nashville, TN. Kacy's approach to marketing and outreach is strongly influenced by her clinical work with individuals impacted by addiction, trauma, and other life stressors.

During her career in the behavioral health field, Kacy has worked in administration, crisis response, clinical practice, and program development. She served as Co-Director of Project Safe, Vanderbilt's Center for Sexual Violence Prevention and Response, for seven years before transitioning to a primary clinical role at Oasis Center, one of the nation's leading youth-serving organizations. As a program specialist at the Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence, Kacy coordinated multiple grants focused on improving crisis response services across the state of Tennessee and co-authored Tennessee's Best Practice Protocols for Sexual Assault Response. She has consulted on numerous projects both within Tennessee and across the country related to trauma informed care, crisis response and stabilization, primary prevention services, and has authored two curricula on girl-centered practice for the Delores Barr Weave Policy Center in Jacksonville, Florida. She is often speaks at national conferences and workshops on trauma-informed practices, mindfulness and meditation, trauma and the body, and other related topics.

Kacy received both a B.A. in Anthropology and a M.Ed. in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University. In addition, she has completed advanced training in body-centered psychotherapy, mindfulness based practices, and the treatment of trauma. Kacy maintains a small private practice in Nashville, specializing in body-centered psychotherapy and the treatment of trauma and addiction.
