We are delighted to announce that David LePere is Cherokee Creek Boys School's new Executive Director.
Many of you know David and have worked with him during his 15 years in the emotional growth and therapeutic education fields. He has worked with such respected programs as CEDU Middle School and CEDU High School, in California; Mount Bachelor Academy in Oregon and Wilderness Quest in Utah.
David honed his leadership skills as Director at both CEDU Middle School and CEDU High School. Most recently, he served as the Executive Director of Wilderness Quest, the country's longest-running wilderness therapy program.
David's collaborative approach to team leadership, and his experience in administration, financial planning, program development, staff training and risk management will be a tremendous asset to Cherokee Creek.
Ron and I have many dreams for growing and improving our "small school with a big heart" and we feel confident that David is just the person to lead our boys, our team and our business to this exciting future! We are so pleased to welcome David into our Cherokee Creek family.
David will assume his new role on campus in mid-November.

David arrived on campus yesterday to a warm and enthusiastic welcome from boys and staff. The boys lined up on the porch--scrubbed and polished in their CCBS T-shirts--and rang our gong and cheered! There was singing & pizza, personal introductions , gifts and basketball... couldn't have been better!
My appreciation to you for publishing our announcement and to Saul Rudman for his support on our selection committee and Brandi Elliott who sent David our way!
