Founded by Jeannie Crowell in 2003, Changing Directions Teen and Young Adult Services offers a wide variety of professional aftercare support, college rescue, solution based coaching and counseling for teens, ages 16 and up, and their families. They offer life support interventions for those youth who need guidance but who do not need a residential placement, or for those coming out of residential programs.

The Onward Bound Aftercare/ Transition Program helps the young adult identify problem areas and develop the skills necessary to make changes in their life. Their staff works to help the family and student make a successful transition back into the home upon completion of a wilderness, therapeutic or treatment program.

Changing Directions requires a complete assessment of the entire family before a program or course of action is considered. While the coaching services are offered via telephone, all of the counseling and intervention services require onsite participation at the home office in Bend, OR.
