Sunrise Girl’s Home is a residential treatment center for girls,
ages 12-18 who commonly demonstrate behaviors such as: addictions manipulation, bereavement, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Bi-polar,
eating , or personality disorders, peer problems, family adjustment difficulties, Post Traumatic Stress and Anxiety Disorders, habitual
lying, relationships problems, hopelessness, substance abuse, Learning Disabilities, suicidiality, low motivation, are victims of
abuse and neglect, low self-esteem, depression and/or Dysthymia. The typical length of stay is 9-12 months.
Sunrise Girls Home focuses on the emotional, intellectual, social, physical, and spiritual well being of each student through education
and treatment.
Sunrise insists on a selective admission policy to maintain the positive environment. Their enrollment of 12 per house at any given
time allows for individualized and focused treatment of a variety of problems. Their mission is “to prepare young girls to be capable,
caring and contributing young women in their homes and communities.”
