MOUNT BACHELOR CLEARED

(The following is a statement pre-pared by Sarah Persha, Admissions Director for Mount Bachelor Academy, located outside Bend, Oregon, 800-462-3404, regarding allegations of abuse made against them by a former employee.)

Mount Bachelor Academy has recently been under investigation by the Oregon Services for Children and Families as a result of allegations of abuse made by a former employee. Last week, two officials from the state agency not only completed MBA's regularly scheduled renewal of license, but also concluded their investigation. They offered such positive feedback as they have never seen such an outstanding and committed staff and that there was no sign of any kind of abuse. The local papers in Bend and Portland, Oregon, have received numerous letters to the editor from parents praising Mount Bachelor Academy's work with their adolescent children. Tim Brace, MBA's Executive Director, and Sharon Bitz, Academy Head, are obviously pleased with the findings and wish to express their heartfelt appreciation for the tremendous support offered by MBA's parent body, consultant community, and fellow schools.
