WLA Announces New Academic Program
Col. Gene Nervo of The Wilderness Leadership Academy in Virginia announced a special academic program for at-risk males ages 13-17

Northstar Announces Several Staff Changes
NorthStar, a program for young adults in Bend, Oregon, in their fourth year of operation, announced several staff changes reflecting
the programs continued growth. Randy Russell, who has been their Wilderness Director, has been promoted to the position of Program
Manager. The wilderness trips are now being headed up by Mare Schelz and Lance Christensen. Jim Wilcox, who just completed his MBA
at Portland State University, is their new Business/Office Manager.
Three Springs Shares Statistics As Of Spring Of 99
Three Springs Treatment Programs, headquartered in Alabama, shared the following statistics as of Spring 1995. They have over 350
employees in twelve separate programs, the capacity to serve 542 residents, four programs that are JCAHO accredited, named by Inc.
Magazine as one of the 500 fastest growing companies in the U.S. for three years in a row, and has served 1,707 children since they
began operations about ten years ago.
Three Springs Blue Ridge Names New Admissions Director
Amy Sobieszczyk (Sobie) has been named Director of Admissions for Three Springs Blue Ridge program in Georgia. She has been handling
admissions and professional visits from the corporate offices in Huntsville, Alabama office. The Administrator of the Blue Ridge programs
will be Maurice Jones, a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years experience as an administrator in both residential and hospital
settings. He is also certified as a school principal and was a high school coach early in his career.
Loveland Farms School Graduates
Larry Culp, of Loveland Farms School in Noxon, Montana, reports he has five girls graduating this June with all five of them going
on to college.
Flying H Youth Ranch Graduates
Flying H Youth Ranch, outside Naches, Washington will have about ten students graduating this summer, so they will be able to enroll
replacements. They also are changing their tuition to a flat fee of $1100 a month.
