Improvements At Three Springs Duck River Facility
Jody Wellwood reports that several improvements have been made for the adventure/activity therapy program at the Three Springs Duck River facility. The Low Ropes Course has been up- graded to meet the Association of Experiential Education (AEE) Standards, and has passed inspection by Jim Chrietzberg, the Experiential Educational Copordinator. The High Ropes Course is also being upgraded under guidelines established by Jim Chrietzberg and also to meet AEE standards. 

Three Springs At Paint Rock Receives Accreditation
The Three Springs program at Paint Rock received accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. 

Brush Ranch School Expands
Jo Marie Williams, the Director of the Brush Ranch School in New Mexico reports they have refurbished 4 dormitories and are breaking ground this summer for a new academic building which will house the 10 computers that were donated. Their Academic Dean, Dr. Judith Price has just completed her first year, and the school is proud of the growth in the academic program. 

SUWS Has New Admissions Director
Brian Church has taken over as Admissions Director for SUWS, replacing his father George, who is enjoying his much deserved retirement, which includes doing some consulting with parents needing placement. George reports his inquiries are steadily increasing and he's been able to help several families find proper placements. George can be reached at 206-883-9913. 

Hyde School Plans To Expand
Due to more inquiries than they can enroll, Hyde School in Bath, Maine is anticipating opening Hyde II by September of 1995. They still are looking for property possibilities, and will be running a full page advertisement in the September 1994 issue of Independent School Magazine asking for suggestions and ideas. Marketing Position Filled At SUWS
Ranel Hanson has accepted a Marketing position for SUWS Adolescent Program starting late August, 1994. She leaves Rocky Mountain Academy where she served as Admissions Director for five years. Matt Fitzgerald will be taking over as RMA Admissions Director concurrently with his position as admissions Director of the other North Idaho CEDU Schools.
