A LETTER TO HELPING HANDS
2 July 1994
Mr. Joey Dusina
Helping Hands
4642 E. Chapman Ave.
Orange, CA 92669
Dear Joey:
I am writing this on the airplane on my way to my second visit with _____ at Provo Canyon. _____ also
visited him about two weeks ago.
There is no doubt in our minds that Provo Canyon is helping _____. Or, more accurately, it is providing
a setting where he can help himself. If I had to guess, I would say that our story will have a happy ending.
We cannot possibly adequately covey our gratitude to you for your help, both in taking _____ to Belmont
Hills and then to Provo Canyon. Your gentleness and sincerity defused an explosive situation.
The purpose of this letter is to thank you, to let you know how _____'s doing, and to let you know that
we are always available as a reference or for any other support you may need. After reading the recent series in the S. F. Chronicle,
which was incomplete and full of innuendo, I realize what a difficult business you are in. Please keep up your good work, and continue
to bring the professional commitment to your job that you showed us. We count our blessings that we found you.
Sincerely,
CH
