Vive Inc. is seeking to fill a Male Therapeutic Mentor position with a dynamic professional who is passionate about working with adolescents and young adults. The Mentor works directly with the adolescents or young adults in the community. Because of this, the job requires the flexibility to travel. According to the Vive approach and philosophy, mentoring is an active endeavor that takes place in the real world. Mentors are part therapist, part life-coach, part teacher, and part advocate. They work closely with a Therapeutic Team Leader and a Parent Coach to provide support for the entire family. Vive's network of Parent Coaches, Mentors, and Therapeutic Team Leaders, located across the country, work collaboratively to provide training and support for each other. We are seeking a team player who is creative, flexible, willing to give and receive support, and is able to receive course-corrective feedback with emotional maturity.
Skills A master's degree is required, as well as experience working with adolescents in a therapeutic capacity. A master's degree in counseling, social work, or family therapy is preferred.
Desired Degrees: MSW, LSW, LCSW, MA in counseling, LPC, LCPC, PsyD, MFT, LMFT
