Licensed Clinical Specialist - North Carolina

(Ashville, Charlotte, Greensboro, Concord, and Raleigh)

As a Licensed Clinical Specialist, you will provide high quality mental health and substance abuse services to youth in the program, including assessment, treatment planning, therapy, and crisis intervention. Also, providing clinical oversight of the provision of mental health and substance abuse services by non-licensed clinical staff members. Serving as a clinical consultant to other facility staff.

Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist required. Coursework or practicum experience in group work, family therapy, and/or substance abuse treatment is preferred. Two years progressive clinical experience in a multi-disciplinary treatment setting required. Prior experience with juvenile treatment population preferred.

Director

(Candor, NC and Suches, GA)

This position serves as the managing officer ensuring a safe, successful therapeutic environment utilizing evidence based practices and curriculum for youth served. Through supervision of staff, position will direct and ensure integration of all program components which include, but are not limited to, educational, clinical, and counseling services, substance abuse education, family involvement and transition, and day to day operations. Position will seek ways to adapt services to meet emerging needs in youth and family services, and will direct financial management, quality improvement, community relations and facilities maintenance. Position will also ensure program operates within Eckerd policies, and state and local contractual and licensing requirements.

Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in the field of counseling, social work, behavioral science, psychology, public administration or in a related human services field. Masters degree preferred.  Six years of progressively responsible work with at-risk adolescents and families required. Minimum of three years of direct staff supervision required. Preference for experience managing adolescent programs utilizing evidence based practices and/or models with an emphasis on engaging families and managing a milieu based on youth outcomes. Must have proven record of managing quality adolescent programming for at risk youth.
