We currently have six teachers, two guidance counselors, two part time tutors/educators and a registrar/librarian. As part of our academic team at Cedar Ridge Academy, teachers can look forward to working with 8-12 students on average per class. These positions require a Bachelor degree and certification in the subject area in which they apply to teach. Teaching candidates who are looking for a paid position for student teaching may also apply. Our student services position works in support of the residential milieu by scheduling doctor appointments, managing student clothing supplies, managing student travel, managing meds dispensed on-campus, and many other specific student needs. Our student services personnel maintain constant contact with parents to meet the needs of our boarding students. For this position, we prefer a Bachelor degree and one or more years working with youth in a residential setting. However, the Bachelor degree is not required.
